When Canadian skaters win, clubs win!

Again this year, for the 2014-2015 World Cup season, Canada's Speed Skating team is not only skating for national pride, but they will also be skating for clubs across the country. Every time a member of Canada's long or short track speed skating team steps onto the podium in an individual World Cup race, Intact Insurance will award $1,000 in cash and prizes to a local speed skating club.

Last season we awarded $23,000 in cash and prizes and since the program started four seasons ago, over $170,000 in cash and prizes has been awarded to amateur clubs from coast to coast.
